The training essentially reflects our approach and philosophy of teaching clowning. It provides a practical and experiential grounding in the facilitation process.
LENGTH OF COURSE
This course is a two-year online course. The course offers 12 online modules – 6 monthly modules each year from October to April.
Between modules, participants will be required to facilitate the clown exercises, games, impros and principles explored in the modules with their own group.
Written reflections of your facilitation experience as well as your feedback and reflections will be an integral part of each module. Each module will consist of supervision of your facilitation process and will introduce different aspects of facilitation and its theory.
Towards the end of your training you will be asked to organise an in-person week-long workshop to co-facilitate with Vivian or with someone from the Nose to Nose team. The workshop will be part of your supervision.
Year 1
6 two-day modules are run once a month between October and April (Excluding the month of December). Each module is 10 hours spread over two days.

PRE-REQUISITES
You live outside of the UK
As a priority, we are welcoming applications from outside of the UK as this course is aimed at making the training accessible and affordable to participants who have less access to in person training with Nose to Nose.
You already facilitate work with a group or community
This two-year online course is open to participants who are already facilitating regular workshops (either in clowning, team-building, improvisation or theatre workshops, or community groups).
You have worked with Nose to Nose
As the training is focused on facilitating the Nose to Nose approach you will need to have done in-person Clown workshops with us up to Level 2 and beyond.
Commitment to personal development
A commitment to your own personal development is necessary.
