The word “courage” comes from a root that means “heart.” Through clowning and connecting to our playful spirit we can develop and sustain, in ourselves and each other, the heart to be who we truly are, to trust life and ourselves. “Taking heart” is a profoundly inward process, and an invitation for overcoming the fears that block us from being fully present in the “Here and Now.” This course establishes the ground for all our work and is an essential first step before going on to more advanced courses.
The group is limited to 12.

Courage to be – Mut zu Sein
“Sich ein Herz fassen” benutzen wir, wenn wir einen mutigen nächsten Schritt gehen wollen. Durch Clowning und die Verbindung zu unserem verspielten Wesen entwickeln und stärken wir in uns und unserem Gegenüber unser Innerstes; wir fassen uns ein Herz um die zu sein, die wir wirklich sind, um uns selbst und dem Leben zu vertrauen. “Sich ein Herz fassen” ist ein zutiefst innerer Prozess und eine Einladung, die Ängste zu überwinden, die uns davon abhalten, ganz im Hier und Jetzt präsent zu sein. “Mut zu sein” ist der wertvolle Beginn der Arbeit und legt den unverzichtbaren Grundstein im Clowning. Die Gruppe ist auf 12 Personen begrenzt.

Hanna Mosch
Hanna has worked as a school teacher, also teaching German to people from all over the world. Currently she works as a legal guardian and as a consultant for families. People with questions and difficulties are close to her heart as they have taught her the most about life and love.
She discovered clowning at 2004, qualified in the Facilitator training of 2012-2014 with Nose to Nose and has worked with various groups teaching clowning in Germany and Britain since. Her warm receptiveness and joy in accompanying others resonates in her work.
She is fluent in German and English and lives as a mother of three near Munich.
Hanna hat als Lehrerin gearbeitet, sowie Menschen aus allen Ecken der Welt Deutsch unterrichtet. Im Moment arbeitet sie als Elternbegleitung für Familien in Not und als Gesetzliche Betreuerin. Menschen, die Fragen und Schwierigkeiten haben, sind ihrem Herzen nah – sie haben ihr vieles über das Leben und die Liebe gelehrt.
2004 hat sie das Clowning für sich entdeckt, hat von 2012-2014 die Ausbildung zur Kursbegleitung gemacht und seitdem mit den unterschiedlichsten Gruppen in Deutschland und Großbritannien gearbeitet. Ihre warme, freundliche Art und ihre Freude daran, andere auf ihrem Weg zu begleiten, schwingt durch ihre Arbeit.
Sie spricht Deutsch und Englisch fließend und lebt als Mutter dreier Kinder in der Nähe von München.
Vivian Gladwell
Vivian is the founder and director of Nose to Nose and has given hundreds of workshops around the world. He lives both in the UK and France where he started clowning in 1978. He speaks French and English fluently.
Vivian began teaching in 1988 as part of the Lifeways Festival at Emerson College – UK. He trained as a facilitator with the Bataclown in 1990 and joined their team in 1991 also working as a modern day Court Jester (Clownanalyst).
He created Nose to Nose UK in 1990, Nose to Nose of North America in 2006 and Fool View, the Social Clowning group and has trained facilitators in the UK, the USA, Germany and Italy – view history.
He continues his role as ambassador for the work by researching the applications of clowning in the context of teacher training, medicine, conflict management, ecology and intercultural work in many countries (South Africa, USA, Senegal, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Italy, Germany, Norway…)
He holds clowning as a social playground for exploring our humanity.
