NOSE TO NOSE CLOWN FACILITATOR TRAINING – GERMANY AND EUROPE

Tuesday 15 October - Sunday 24 May 2024
Starts 19:30 on first day - Finishes 13:00 on last day

A TWO-YEAR TRAINING IN CLOWN FACILITATION WITH NOSE TO NOSE
from October 2024 – May 2026

The training provides a practical and experiential grounding in the facilitation process and reflects our approach and philosophy of teaching clowning.

Who is this course for?
You will need to have done Clown 1, Clown 2 and Clown 3 as a minimum. Some experience of working with groups and a commitment to your own personal development is necessary.

This course is for people who either already work as clowns or who want to use clowning in their own professional field (such as teaching, medical, artistic, social work, health, therapy etc.). Priority for the training is given to those who have done the Nose to Nose training at level 1, 2 and 3…

This training will be run in English

Applications:
You can apply if you have only done level 1 as long as you commit to doing the other levels over the following 2 years.

If you have trained with other schools you will need to be familiar with the Nose to Nose approach before applying.

Venue:
The venue is just outside Prague with easy access by train and road from the surrounding countries including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. It is a 15 minute drive from Prague airport.

Course structure:
Each module addresses a different aspect of facilitation and clowning:

  • The clown archetype and its meaning

Length of course:

Each period consists of three 5-day residential modules, Wednesday mornings to Sunday afternoons. Online supervisions are also offered between each module (see dates below).

A further optional supervision period of two weekends per year from 2026 to 2028 is also offered for those who wish to deepen their practice of the work. This may also involve co-facilitating a workshop with Nose to Nose within that period.
