TOWARDS PERFORMANCE PART 2 - second week of a two-week course - Saturday 18 to Thursday 23 October 2008

An advanced course for performers wishing to devise a solo or duo clown performance.
The course ends with a performance at the Camden Fringe in August 2008.

We are keen to see performance work coming out of the Nose to Nose approach and will suggest a number of possible directions to link with future projects that we wish to promote, such as research on conflict (see Playing with Fire).

The first week will consist of uncovering through improvisations – the themes and stories for your solo piece. At the end of this first week, you will have a basic outline for your performance which you will be able to work on and improve over the next two months.

The second week will be devoted to finalising and refining your performance. Two performances are planned in Forest Row and two more performances are planned for the Camden Fringe in August 2008.

NOTE: The course is an advanced course and requires a good grounding in clowning.

The course limited to 12 people.

Course fee: £400 (for the full two-week course)
