Have you worked with Nose to Nose before? Are you a parent or grandparent and would like to share Clowning with a younger member of your family aged 8-12?
In this workshop you will embark on a journey together of discovery towards play, humour and clowning. We will start each morning with warm-ups and games and move through the day towards improvisations on stage with a red nose.
This is a week of fun, laughter and connection.
We will be working at Laughton Lodge, set in the Sussex countryside.
Both rooms and camping are available on site
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Adults will need to:
- have taken part in a Nose to Nose workshop
- accompany one younger member of their family (aged 8 to 12).
Both facilitators hold enhanced DBS certificates.

Alison Stockford
Alison participated in her first Nose to Nose workshop in 2000 and fell in love with the work. Many workshops later and she is now a trained facilitator with Nose To Nose. She holds this work in high esteem as a perfect grounding for all creative work and the bigger picture of trusting ourselves and life. Alison is a qualified and experienced teacher of over 20 years. She teaches and has taught Drama and Performing Arts in mainstream, and special needs schools and older peoples settings.
An experienced performer, she has worked in café-théâtre with Les Amuses Gueules in Lille, France, Street Theatre and Theatre in Education with Inside Out Theatre Company, Hastings. Alison speaks both English and French.
Jessica Hernandez
Born in 1981 Jessica grew up in Luxembourg. Studied Speech and Drama at the Goetheanum, Dornach (Switzerland) and at Artemis School of Speech and Drama, East Grinstead (West Sussex). She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, German, Swiss German and Luxembourgish. She lives in England and works as an actress and drama teacher / workshop facilitator. Her work frequently takes her to Scotland, Switzerland and Luxembourg. She has worked with Special Needs.
